ABOUT ME
Writing about my art has always been a challenge, yet it's something I love to do. My name is Dany Miguel Palare Magalhaes, born in 1998. My roots are in Portugal, but I grew up near Stuttgart, in a town called Marbach. It’s where I went to school and began my working life.
I've been painting, drawing, and creating for as long as I can remember. What fuels my creativity is both you and me. I love learning from great artists, as it’s an essential part of the journey. However, my ultimate goal is to be unique and to share love through my work. Here, I will show you what my art is truly about.
My art is sentimental, profound, contemplative, and full of mysteries. Often, it reflects the qualities that inhabit my dreams because my work is rooted in Surrealism. I don't like to discuss taste, as art doesn’t allow for such boundaries. Nevertheless, my pieces are diverse and colorful, cheerful and melancholic, grand and small, rough and delicate.
Primarily, I like to share visions from my life and images from my dreams, weaving together emotions and wisdom that might help us along the way. Art has always been there for me, especially when I felt there was no way out. There is no path that offers us more than the creativity within our minds. What we give through images and words can never be taken away from us.
